Smell The Food!
Bears rely heavily on their smell to find food, mates and for communication with other bears. A rub tree contains so much information. To keep them mentally stimulated while in our care we gave them some used trees from our otter enclosure. This kept them busy for hours, constantly coming back to it and sniffing it again.
